Health Improvement Plans

altThe purpose of the Tri-County health planning board is to improve the health of Somerset, Wicomico and Worcester county residents through increased accessibility, continuity, and availability of quality cost-effective health services.

Tri-County Health Planning Board: Somerset, Wicomico, Worcester counties

The Planning Board has been providing input into the development of local (lower shore) and statewide health planning documents since 1993. As a part of state wide health improvement process the planning board also developed Tri-County Health Improvement Plan (T-CHIP) by identifying top two health priorities common to all three counties.

The Board usually meets the last Wednesday of the months of January, May and October rotating between the three counties. For information call 410-632-1100 and ask for the Planning Program. All meetings are open to the public.
